This policy explains how Sekos LLC ("Sekos," "we," "us") collects, uses and protects information when you visit getsekos.com, use our Missed Call Calculator, book a call with us, receive our text messages or emails, or become a client.
Text messaging: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Your name, email address, mobile phone number and business name or type, when you fill out a form, use the calculator, book a call or contact us.
- The numbers you enter in the Missed Call Calculator, such as missed calls per week, average job value and booking rate, and the estimate it produces.
- What you tell us in calls, emails and messages.
- If you become a client: business details, hours, services and account access you share so we can set up your systems, plus billing information handled by our payment processor.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data such as browser type, device, pages visited and the website that referred you, collected through cookies or similar tools.
- Campaign information in links you follow (for example, which social platform sent you).
How we use your information
- To send you the results you request, such as your calculator report.
- To reply to you, schedule calls and follow up about Sekos services you asked about.
- To deliver and support the services our clients pay for.
- To send text messages, only if you have opted in (see below).
- To improve our website, services and marketing.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations and to protect against fraud or misuse.
Text messages (SMS)
If you check the text message box on one of our forms or otherwise give us your consent, Sekos may send you text messages about your request, such as your calculator report, appointment confirmations and reminders, and follow-up about Sekos services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Opting out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You'll get one confirmation message, and no further texts.
- Help: reply HELP, or email will@getsekos.com.
- Consent is optional. You don't have to agree to text messages to use our website, get your calculator results by email, or buy our services.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or your text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
When we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:
- Service providers that help us run Sekos, such as our customer relationship and messaging platform, scheduling tool, email provider and payment processor. They may use your information only to provide services to us. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with anyone for marketing.
- Legal reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Sekos, our clients or others.
- Business changes, such as a merger or sale, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.
Information we handle for our clients
When a business hires Sekos, we set up systems that message and book that business's own customers. In that role we process information on the client's behalf and follow the client's instructions. If you are a customer of one of our clients, please contact that business about your information; we will help them respond.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required for legal, tax or accounting reasons. When a client leaves, we provide their data as agreed in their contract and then delete or deactivate it.
How we protect information
We use reasonable safeguards, such as access controls and reputable service providers, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to stop text messages at any time.
- Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Email us to ask what information we have about you, or to correct or delete it.
- Set your browser to refuse cookies. Some parts of the site may not work as intended.
Children
Our website and services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We'll change the effective date above and, for significant changes, take reasonable steps to let you know.
